This much-used recipe book was falling apart.   The client was happy for the a new case to be made with new boards. The book was disbound.  Paper repairs were made and the centre folds were restored to allow sewing. The book was then re-sewn on tapes.   A new case was made using new boards and red buckram.   New “chook” endpapers added a bit of whimsy.
